Sharon F. Bailey was originally inspired at the age of eight after her father, Lewis Brown, a commercial architect, took her to an art showing. Sharon ultimately became a full-time artist in 2007. She is known for her use of color in her abstracts she also does theme based whimsical art and has been recognized her crawfish series. Sharon has been a regularly featured artist in several art events with the main one being the annual White Light Nights Festive, the Hot Art Cool Nights Festival, both in the Mid-City Historical District of Baton Rouge and the Tom Peyton Memorial Arts Festival in Alexandria . She has been commissioned and has sold to a wide variety of buyers all across the United States and as far as Australia.  She is featured at the Elizabethan Gallery in Baton Rouge.
